After working with BBC Watchdog, Rogue Traders, the One Show and Newsround he joined the BBC News sports setup. Nick won the BBC 'rising star' presenter award in 2009 and was appointed as BBC Sport's Olympic & Paralympic reporter in 2010.
Since then Nick has travelled the globe to gain exclusive access to some of the biggest names in sport, while also fronting national and international news bulletins as well as highlights programmes.
Nick has reported on all Olympic / Paralympic Games from 2008-2022 and is a passionate supporter of the women's sport movement.
The foundation of Nick's passion for Olympic and Paralympic sports was laid in the first few months of his life - with his arrival into his parent's world coinciding with the 1984 Los Angeles Games.

There were few sports Nick did not try as a child - athletics, tennis, jiu-jitsu, football and handball amongst his favourites - but, swimming became his main focus and he competed at age-group nationals before suffering a serious shoulder injury.
Nick captained the Lancaster University Swim Team and went three years unbeaten in their annual 'Battle of the Roses' fixture vs York Uni, but now competes internationally with the GB Masters team.
Since his debut - two top-10 finishes at the 2015 World Masters Championships in Kazan - Nick has become a British and European Masters Games gold medallist.
